- Our writing is ours. Quote it with attribution; don’t republish it wholesale.
- We try to be accurate but can’t guarantee it, because platforms change constantly.
- What happens on a platform you reach from here is between you and them.
- You need to be 18 or over.
What These Terms Cover
Vexycam is a review and comparison website. We publish articles about random video chat platforms. We do not operate a video chat service, we have no user accounts, and there is nothing here to register for or subscribe to.
These terms govern your use of this website: reading it, linking to it, and quoting from it. They do not govern your use of any platform we write about. Each of those has its own terms, and those apply when you use them, not ours.
Age Requirement
This website is intended for adults aged 18 and over, as are the platforms it covers. By using this site you confirm you are at least 18.
We should be straightforward about what that means in practice: we don’t verify anyone’s age, because there’s no account system through which we could. It’s a stated requirement, not an enforced gate. The platforms we review make similar claims and enforce them to varying degrees, which our safety guide discusses honestly.
Our Content
The reviews, comparisons and guides on this site are our own work and remain our property. You’re welcome to quote from them for commentary, criticism or reference, with attribution and a link back.
What we’d rather you didn’t do is republish substantial portions elsewhere, scrape the site, or reproduce our comparison tables as your own. If you want to use something more extensively, ask us.
Platform names, logos and trademarks mentioned here belong to their respective owners. Referring to them doesn’t imply any endorsement or relationship in either direction, except where we’ve explicitly disclosed one.
Accuracy and Warranties
We research carefully and correct errors when we find them or when they’re pointed out. We can’t warrant that everything here is accurate or current, and we’d be overpromising if we tried.
Platforms change pricing, features and policies without notice. Every page carries the date it was last checked, and anything after that date may have changed. Our methodology page explains what each review is based on.
Nothing on this site is legal, financial or professional advice. It’s a review site, and decisions you make from it are your own.
Third-Party Platforms and Links
This is the part that matters most, so it’s worth being blunt about it.
We don’t own, operate, control, moderate or have any access to the platforms we write about. When you leave this site for one of them, you’re entering a relationship with that company, governed by their terms and their privacy policy. We’re not a party to it.
That means we can’t help with anything that happens there: billing, refunds, account problems, moderation decisions, or anything you encounter during a chat. Our contact page sets out what we can and can’t assist with, and where those issues should go instead.
The chat widget embedded on some of our pages is operated by our affiliate partner, not by us. Interacting with it means dealing with them.
Affiliate Relationships
We earn commission when readers sign up to our affiliate partner through links on this site. That relationship is disclosed on every page where it applies, and set out in full in our affiliate disclaimer.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from anything you do on a third-party platform you reached through it.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations of liability, in which case those limitations apply only to the extent the law permits, and nothing here removes rights you have that can’t be waived.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the updated version.
